I think the bulletin board problem was just a slightly complicated but general astronomy question that didn't really contain any heresay, just required some astronomical data to prove that the person answering had experience and knowledge in astronomy. Also there's just something about confident and arrogant characters thats very fascinating and almost likeable. The great thing about a lot of characters in Orb is that they aren't the "perfect" protagonists who are like heroes with good values but rather flawed people with big ambition/greed/ insecurities/over-confidence/arrogance etc etc. It explores characters with different values and perspectives in a very human flawed way. Thanks for the 3 ep drop btw!!

They probably hid Novak's face because they adapted it 1:1 from the manga, in which we don't have the voice, so the mystery is still upheld.
