I thought Jiji already confessed that he was attracted to Momo, in the last episode of the first season. He said it pretty casually though, like maybe his attraction is less romantic and sincere than Ken's. And unless I missed something I don't think Momo and Jiji are cousins or anything, just old friends from childhood.

its crazy how good the anime elevates the manga for me just as a little example for this episode, in the manga okarun only hits jiji 20 times with his exercise in the attack while the anime has him do a 100! definitely makes more sense in the context of beating evil eye and makes it more funny/awesome to watch.
