About the glimpse of Big mom we saw during FMI She was hidden in shadows talking to characters we couldn't see. She was talking about how impatient she was about the Fish Man Island Sweets. Then those other characters started singing about how they're impatient too. So she told them ''If you're as eager as I am then you can wait for the party in my belly.'' then we heard munching noises. 😂

HIMBE IS HERE! He feels like the perfect pillar for Luffy's growth. While also bringing a sense of experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the big world. His knowledge of how the world works and what the Strawhats's image/influence can do is so important. That's why he was so against Luffy fighting Hody and wanted to use that opportunity to show people of FMI that they can change their views too. He thinks about those things while Luffy clearly doesn't.

Around the time of these chapters coming out I remember hearing rumors that Oda had just picked up Game of Thrones. So maaaybe if that was true it influenced Oda to get ever so slightly darker with OP?
