To garnts point. As someone that plays SF and Tekken. Tekken is generally the harder game due to the list of moves each character has. The the third dimension coming into play where you can move to the foreground and background. And Yoshi.

Ehhh this is highly debated, yes there's the 3d movement to take into account that is a point. But the move list being large is mostly moot, not all of them are useful so the amount of moves you would ACTUALLY play is a lot smaller (there are exceptions). SF6 is the hardest when it comes to links, the toughest to combo and utilize your move set.

I meant from more the perspective of learning opponents strings. I see where you're coming from but from the SF players I've seen try out Tekken. Most have definitely found it to be the harder game

Each has there learning curves where I see when 3d fighters most of them kinda just let you start pressing buttons more than 2d but the complexity of how the game actually runs at higher level is higher given the options most characters have. Tho I feel at the end of the day both become very similar at high level to what comes that wins
