i don’t know if you guys have thought about this or not but a lot of streamers have websites that they put their VODs up on to avoid a lot of the ToS and copyright. since Mega is objectively awful, maybe you guys could invest in making a trash taste website that can host videos you can’t show on youtube , have links for merch, etc. it would be a lot better than having us download 4k files and you could have exclusive things on the site for patreon members

You have to Install their Desktop App to download it as it is too large for most Browsers. But they put a cap on how many GB you can download per day so it takes two days to download. Playing it on the website doesn't work as it refreshes itself and starts over after 2 mins or so. Also it did not ask for a password.

I had absolutely no issues watching it in browser on mega like any video, sounds like a skill issue to be honest. Try it in Firefox as it worked flawlessly for me, never had any issues with mega in my life using FF

Ended up downloading (generally speaking my policy). -With Mega if you try to use e.g. JDownloader it will throttle you badly, so best to just the in-browser download. -Note that to download you will need to use a Chromium-based browser, or at least, you won't be able to use FF, since it doesn't allow its cache to get that large (this is a 10GB file). Not making this up, it literally pops up a message to this effect specifically if you're using Firefox. -There was no password necessary as the link provided has the decrypt key in it. -It is should not be necessary to either sign up for MEGA nor to install their desktop app to be able to download or stream this file. --They do have download limits though, and if you've downloaded a lot from them from your IP/browser within the last month you may already have hit your cap. It might be that Google Drive is a better solution but unclear. --There are bandwidth limits on Mega from the uploader's end, and depending on how many $5+ subs there are that downloaded this, they could actually get close to it, depending on which tier they're on (it is severely unlikely they are on the free tier, and my guess would be that they use this internally for shifting data around, too). Given how sporadic and inconsistent the reports of not being able to download are, I don't think this is an issue. Probably worth it for somebody at geex+ to research/explain/clarify, presuming that hasn't already happened

someone at geexplus must be able to export this at a lower resolution/quality setting to bring this below the limit mega lets you download/stream a day :/ or just invest a few dollars into s3/b2 storage
