Two anime related videos in one week? What is this... an anime podcast!?

Tha boyz decided to take an anime music quiz in order to become the Rainbolt of the anime world (just with anime music knowledge instead of geographic skills ya know) and it was actually SUPER difficult.

I really enjoyed this, please do it again. I think I did about as well as the boys - so many of these I recognize but placing the right anime is always tricky, especially given I have listened to a lot of anime songs in my playlist whilst doing other things so the association with the anime has slipped a bit over time.

This is great! I really love the content and I hope you guys do it again :) If you want ideas to spice it up next time here are a few suggestions: 1. If you scroll to the bottom in the advanced settings, there is the option to select specific Genres or Tags of anime (based on AniList) as well as the year when the anime was released ("Vintage"). You could do custom-themed rounds (for eg. a Gigguk-themed round where only songs from shows tagged as "Isekai" appear, or a Joey-themed setting where the year is only from 2000 - 2015) 2. AMQ has a Battle Royale Mode which could be interesting. If everyone makes their account, how the game works is that everyone is dropped onto a map and everyone will have to pick anime shows on the map. After a certain amount of looting time, the quiz will start and only the shows that are picked by the players will come up. (The game will also display who picked the show when the answers come up with a "Loot" so the boys can roast each other for their selection.) This makes it so you have a certain degree of song selection instead of relying on AMQ's random selection from a list or entire database. 3. If the boys ever find Easy difficulty TOO easy (probs. not for a while haha), instead of picking Medium, you can instead pick custom difficulty levels under the advanced settings. In AMQ all songs are rated on a scale of 0 - 100 based on how often it is guessed correctly with 0 being the hardest and 100 being the easiest. The interval levels are Hard: 0 - 25%, Medium: 25- 60%, and Easy: 60+. Instead of checking Medium which selects all of the songs in Medium, you could custom select 50 - 100% under song difficulty so it's still harder but not impossible. (There are a lot of impossible songs in Medium especially in the lower difficulties) Thank you very much again for doing an AMQ video and keep up the fun videos!

That site had the song name, artist, and even the visuals wrong on the Re:Zero S2 one. It's correct that the song they played was the season's first opening, but literally every other piece of info was about the second opening

It actually is correct. The actual AMQ game would play the audio sample for the guessing part, and then it would actually replay the SAME audio sample with the corresponding part of the video. It's just that the editor is purposefully replacing the game audio with clean audio that transitions from the guessing portion into the video/answer portion (probably so that it's a bit easier on the ears for viewers). This is why if you listen to the audio and pay attention to the visuals on screen, they either almost never match up or it's straight up the wrong song replaced (kinda a big quality control oversight, honestly imo). You can also tell it's edited because the audio fades out at the end of the answer portion, which AMQ doesn't do (it just cuts to the next song with maybe some buffering in between). As for the in-game information, AMQ is a bit weird with how they treat song metadata info. Shows that have the same title/logo in promotional material or the OP are listed under the same title. This is why Re:Zero S2 Part 2's OP was listed as OP1, because it's technically OP1 of S2 Part 2 (but you would consider it OP2 of S2). But all Re:Zero songs will just fall under answering Re:Zero. Meanwhile, other shows like Attack on Titan are split by seasons because the OPs and promotional material specify S2, S3, etc.

This was a really fun video, definitely would love to see more AMQ! Slight nitpick though: it would be better next time if the in-game audio wasn't re-edited. The guys sometimes referred to a specific part of the song playing, and the clean song audio that's edited in just doesn't match with what the in-game audio would be playing or is straight up the wrong song (which is what happened with one of the Re:Zero songs like someone else in the comments mentioned).

This is a great video, slight nick pick though. At the end of the second round, when it’s Re:Zero, the song that was played was “Realize”, 1st opening of the 2nd season, but the correct song that was shown was “Long Shot”, the opening of the 2nd season part 2.
