The shift in her personality has been cool! Like Im sure Kayla still holds her fatphobic beliefs but now that she's getting bigger her denial is obviously protecting her ego, but interestingly her confidence in her body if anything has also skyrocketed with her weight. The red headed girl is unintentionally feeding into Kaylas already big ego by flirting and stuffing her. I think Kalya knowing that she's still desirable to someone is helping her ignore a situation that in the start of the comic would have shamed her. For instence in the beginning of the comic the idea of eating as much as she is now, let alone eating herself out of her clothing and then ontop of confiding in someone about that, then demanding that same person into buying her larger sizes would have been mortifying for the old Kayla, but now it's not as big of a deal. You've really knocked it out of the park with this slow burn, it's been great watching her go from thin toxic gamer girl to growing (pun intended) and unashamed fatty indenial, I can't wait to see her get even 'worst' lol.
