Hi everyone!

We’re working tirelessly to bring you the next update of Tame It Too! as soon as possible, and with each passing week, we’re getting closer! Let’s take a look at what we’ve accomplished since our last news post.

Construction

The core building mechanics are nearing completion! Many features are already in place:

  • Foundations, walls, roofs, and staircases;

  • Material-based construction (different resources = different looks/durability);

  • Shutters for windows (and someday, Lee might even craft glass panes — fancy!).

We’re also finalizing textures for various building materials.

Soon, we’ll start engine testing for the entire building system, but there are still plenty of little details to polish before we get there.

Cutscenes

Work is in full swing on the four cutscenes for the new chapter:

  • 1st cutscene: 100% done!

  • 2nd cutscene: Wrapping up in the next few days;

  • 3rd cutscene: Visual assets in progress;

  • 4th cutscene: Plot and storyboard are ready.

As always, we’re making them vibrant, fun, and story-rich, packed with surprises and new info about characters you’ve already met!

Fishing

The new fishing system is coming along nicely! Many elements are already coded and tested, and fish are slowly populating their designated spots. But there’s still work ahead to make it match our vision.

New Breeding Poses

We’re animating several new breeding poses! Remember those "educational" wall carvings scattered across the island? Lee studies them and can later recreate them with his girls. More poses gives more spice for your breeding adventures!

The Valley

Another major landmark has claimed its place in the valley! It’ll tie into Bunny’s quest and the overall plot, so we’re giving it extra love. Next up: an even bigger location — the ancient abandoned harbor, hiding a lot of secrets!

What about optimisation? Are you working on this?

We have slightly reworked the tree shader and a lot of textures in the last update, which may increase FPS. We work on optimization with each new update, but it receives many new features, models, and locations each time, and optimization cannot keep up with the growth of the game. Nevertheless, we continue to work on it!
