Hi guys!

The main news of last week was, of course, the long-awaited release of the Intro of our new game, (non)trivial! Have you had a chance to play the Intro yet? How do you like it? We will be glad to hear what you think! 🥰

We're currently busy working on the Prologue and the various gameplay elements for the further game.

Since animations usually take quite a lot of time, we often start creating a new chapter by preparing animated scenes. Right now we're making storyboards, preparing character sprites and backgrounds, and after that we'll start making the animation using these materials.

The save menu, an important element of any game, is nearing completion. And we also work on the saving system itself, because the prologue is planned quite big, and the saving system may be needed there already. We are aiming to make a save system in a way that players won't have to start the game from the beginning with every update.

We have all the character concepts for the Prologue ready. You may have seen the concepts of these characters in our WiP posts. All of them are pretty different and unusual! Maybe you'd like to know something about any of them? Feel free to ask in the comments! 😉

We are actively working on the first minigame, which you'll find at the beginning of the prologue. It will feature important mechanics that we plan to use in the further game as well.

And we've also come up with an awesome collectibles feature in the game! And now we're working on the appearance of these collectibles. You'll be able to find the first one in the Prologue. We really think you'll like this stuff! 😋

In short, the work is boiling! There are a lot of interesting tasks ahead, which we can't wait to do and to show you the results!

This week we'll have our third voting stage and we have already prepared sketches for you to vote for!
