Hi, everyone!

We've done a ton of work on both of our projects this past week! Let's start with the (non)trivial!

New poses for Vi

Last time we mentioned that we decided to draw some new poses for Vi to vary her stay in the apartment. And now these poses are ready! All that's left is to add all sprites to the game!

Sam scene

The storyboard for the Sam scene, which you'll see in the next build, is finished. In this scene you'll be able to finally see Sam in his apartment and learn a bit more about him!

Journal

Work on Vi's journal continues, but we can already see the light at the end of the tunnel! We expect to start testing this big new feature soon, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

Vi's workplace

In the next update Vi will get a job, so we have prepared the location where she will work. It's a video rental shop where you can borrow movies on VHS and DVD. Yes, just a few decades ago such places were popular! As you know, the (non)trivial story takes place in the early 2000s.

New 3D apartment

We have a new pair of characters to add soon, we already showed you their visual concept. And now we've made a 3D apartment for their chibi form. It will be added to the game very soon and you'll be able to see it through binoculars in the next update.

New collectible cards with Tonya

If you've already played the first build of (non)trivial, you've probably received the first two collectible pin-up cards featuring Tonya. In the update you'll have the chance to find two new ones! We've already finished their design and they're waiting to be put into the game!

As for the new Tame It Too! prototype, we've made significant progress on that as well!

Honey

Honey has been added to the prototype, and the ability to collect it in coconut bowls! And you'll need honey to give Cat something delicious to eat!

Mushrooms

We continue to add details to the locations, this time we've decorated the cave and added glowing mushrooms.

Wall in the cave

If you remember, in the first prototype you had to collect stone tablets and bring them into the cave. Last week we finished the wall and the feature that allows you to insert the stone tablets into their places. We're also working on the possibility of adding a new scene that happens after all the tablets have been placed. But for now, we're not making any predictions that we'll be able to do this in time for the first release of the new prototype.

Crafting UI

We have finished working on the crafting user interface and have already added it to the game. Now it's just a matter of minor polishing changes.

And we are already moving forward with more work!

Thank you for your support, friends! You inspire us to work even better and even faster!
We wish you all a wonderful week and a good mood!
Stay tuned so you don't miss anything interesting!
