My sister passed away last week, she wasn't feeling well one night so she went to sleep and just never woke up. It was so unexpected... none of this feels real. I've been feeling depressed ever since, difficult to sleep, difficult to work, wishing I could just go back in time.

I promise I'll still get art done this month, it's going to be slow but I will do my best.

I'm not a very active patron, but you should know that loss is something you should take your time with. If you need weeks, months, a year off, just take it. I couldn't imagine losing my sister, and you deserve all the time to process what happened. You'll still have a community when you get back, just take care of yourself first. 🌺

Its never easy losing someone you love, dont worry about making anything and just take as much time as you need and never bottle up, it will just make it worse. Please take some time off to give yourself time to process and mourn, everything will still be here when you get back. That kind of sudden loss is hard, my friend lost her mother like that not long ago. Maybe try getting in touch with family and friends, usually the best way to deal with a loss is together with others that also cared for the one that passed.
