PAD

Nothing new to report this week. We're still in the early stages of creating content for v0.23, so there's nothing to show as-of yet. In the meantime, we've been tabulating the gameplay survey responses, and because of the overwhelming majority who voted for a new event with multiple characters, we've decided to add that to our roadmap next. A lot of work will need to be done behind the scenes in order to make that happen, but rest assured that we know exactly what we want to do. It's just a matter of working on it a little here-and-there between the main update content in order to build up enough to make the worthy event we want to share. Stay tuned for more on this in the coming months!

Progress is continuing slowly. Our main artist has sent progress reports on nearly all of the update's content, but unfortunately that means that none of it is in a completely finished state yet. The script is finished and has been implemented as much as it can be with the missing art assets, and so is the battle minigame with the new chibi enemies from our second artist:

In order to not fall further behind, we're going to start internal testing of the build this week, with placeholder assets if we need to. Our next post will go into the rest of the new content and gameplay features in the meantime.

We also want to leave you with this, which (once it's broken up) will be another parallaxing image like the big, sweeping moments from the first update. We couldn't think of anything more appropriate for such a treatment than the moment that our main hero meets our main villain. But which is which?
