6-8-24 Progress Update + Art Preview (Patreon)

This week, our artist finished up the Pocahontas bust art. It's taken a little longer because we've started deciding on all of a girl's outfits before starting any of her content. This lets the artist work on all of it at once, which is easier than having to revisit and update old files sometime in the future. It also means that any Prince-level patrons will get a special sneak peek of some future outfits in the asset pack files, before they're included in the game!

The script is still being worked on, and completing and implementing that should be the main focus of this upcoming week. Don't forget to fill out our last gameplay survey if you haven't yet!

Nothing new to show here, but the main artist assures me that they are still working hard on laying out things for the scene animations: a whopping five new ones this time around! The script has also been implemented as much as it can be (everything except for those scenes), which is also a larger task than before because of both the larger variety of expressions used for this game, and the larger cast of characters, many of whom are often onscreen with each other simultaneously. While the game overall will be smaller in scope than PAD when it's finished, we're taking the opportunity to test our technical and proficiency boundaries when it comes to the content it contains.
