With so much detail and sidelines, i am actually surprised the story continues as it does. Yeah, i would like more. Who wouldn't. But being realistic, i am happy for each new offering.

The superstructure was strong enough to contain the blast, otherwise the casualties numbers would have been a lot higher on both sides.” Missing the opening “ mark and “casualties” should be “casualty”. Her mask of self-control slipped, and she looked a him with remorse. Should be “at him”.

Maybe it's time to use a Ghost Writer to finish the story. Someone who can crank out more than one chapter every three months. I'm sure there are plenty of talented folks that could take on the project and complete it in a timely manner. This is looking more and more like the high speed train boondoggle project in California.

Tef, I notice that you sometimes treat space as if you weren’t in space. You talk about Alyssa pulling back on the throttle and the Invictus coasting to a stop. But there is no friction in space and it would just keep going

Also, sometimes you talk about ships keeling over when they have been hit/disabled. (You use a different word than keeling which I can’t remember but same concept) This implies gravity is acting on it like on a planet.

I was thinking that they missed a major opportunity when harassing Galkagor’s fleets. They could have sat cloaked in the middle of a fleet while it was recharging its shields and just have Irillith hack all the ships and immobilize them. They wouldn’t even know until they tried to move again. And, no shots fired!

So sorry to hear about your wife. i understand, in October i sliced my fore are real bad and i'm not aloud to do any lifting so I'm sitting here rereading your stories for the 3rd time. seeing somethings for the 1st time (maybe). love them.
