If you have problems running the app on mac silicon (I have an M1 laptop) and you are get an error saying the app is "damaged and can't be opened" you can fix it by doing the following: open the terminal and paste: xattr -cr then add a space (spacebar) and drag the "MyAppInstaller_web" file into the terminal window. press return on your keyboard. Now try to launch the app. The app should launch. You may need to do the same process above for the PTB app as well. Worked for me.

Could you communicate on PTB "Basic" and "Pro" version? What features do they have?

Bernd Klein

Installed the "Intel-OSX" version on my MacBox-M2 - works. Than installed the silicon version on this M2-Computer - seems to be faster . Run's well.

For those who didn’t see it I posted a short vid here in patreon about a simple fix for Mac silicon installation issue

Lighting fast on m1 compared to previous. A note for others, do the command line in terminal for the app in the "main" folder as well.

hi i installed on windows, the program opens, but when i try to upload a bbl file but it gives me an audible windows error ping, and shows 'please wait' it seems like its covering some message that starts with 'Se' i am opening the program via main folder that is located in 'documents' am i doing something wrong?

Look carefully at the install instructions. You’re likely running the wrong executable. Follow instructions carefully. Do not use supplied shortcut (during install you should not select “make shortcut). You run Ptb from the main folder in the download. Ignore the one that is in programs folder. This is all in the instructions

There is no Matlab download. It doesn’t require Matlab. The installer installs a Matlab runtime. But This is an old version. Please see more recent post for version 0.73. V0.74 is coming soon. I really need a better way of organizing this

How do I trim an bb log on the tool, in old videos I see a button called trim, but looks like it was removed?
