Hi ! I've just downloaded the soft and followed the instructions but when I begin installation, the installation is detected as a malware by avast and deleted. Does anybody have the same issue ?

FlyingDog

Thanks for your help

The PIDtoolbox Guy

You might have to turn off your antivirus program for a moment to install or find out how to over ride for this program.

FlyingDog

I think I will have to turn off antivirus : MyAppInstaller.exe is infected by FileRepMalware [Misc]

FlyingDog

Installation on with antivirus turned off. Thx 😊

Hi there! - I was running the previous version of PTB (windows) w no problems, but when I tried loading a log two days ago, all of a sudden it would not accept the files anymore (wrong syntax/location despite no changes. Even previously loaded files don't load anymore). I then downloaded 0.81, it's running (starts up), but upon trying to load files, it shuts down again. Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?

Update - another windows quirk: Opening from the folder directly (pidtoolbox.exe) works! - Don't use the shortcut on the desktop even when provided by the installation (install app asked whether to install a desktop shortcut) - program starts up, when loading files it asks which ones (as usual), but then gives the usual error message: one of 2 reasons, either file path wrong or log files corrupted (too short time period arm/disarm) - and it shuts the app down. None of the mentioned reasons are the case. When starting PTB directly from the install folder, it seems to work for now. *Hi Bill..

Hello, when i first run the app I selected a working directory that no longer exists. How can I change the working directory? Running on Apple Silicon

The PIDtoolbox Guy

Go to user/shared and delete the mainDir…txt file then run application again and working directory prompt will appear again
