Very sharp writing! Lexi's insensitivity toward Cassandra speaks volumes about her character. Lexi has to be either completely naive or self-centered not to understand the fat shaming Cassandra has experienced. Cassandra's hurt being expressed through her strict tone is realistic. Illustrations remain first rate, I admire the pudginess to Lexi's face, bestowing a soft loveliness and the billowy condition to her posterior that appears especially squishy. Kudos x 20!

I think what I like most about this direction is it's going to show us just how these two handle differences and life outside of eating and being fat. Old personality traits, old likes and dislikes, these are all going to come out. It is easy to like someone in a vacuum or when they are vulnerable. I wonder how they will feel when old issues resurface again.
