Both sides have a point here. Lexi is right in Cass wrecking her life and not accepting that a man could find her beautiful and perhaps envious that someone finds her attractive. Cass in saying that this is obviously a prank, especially coming soon after the cheerleaders insulted Lexi and Cass.

That is a lot to unpack... I mean I agree they are both right. But I also think that those two need to dig through all of these feelings if they even want to remain friends, let alone anything further. It's easy to be friends when things are going well, much more difficult when things aren't great...

But on a serious note I think both sides are valid in the way they think. Lexi has every right to be upset with Cass given the situation she put Lexi in and to be fair she could be feeling desperate since Prom is a big thing to her. Cass understandably is concerned since the timing of this ‘date’ and way the cheer squad is acting. But this is def top tier writing/story telling!

As a confrontation-averse lad, I've been dreading this moment, and I'd honestly hoped Lexi had moved past these feelings better! But then, she's also right- Cass DID curse her, did make her gain at least an initially huge amount of weight, did cause her life to upend without really...asking. On the flip side though, without her, Lexi would still be an absolute jerk, surrounded by fake friends, controlling parents, and on top of all that- skinny as a rake. As kinda terrible as Cass was at first, she's also made Lexi a better human, found her a surrogate mom who loves her and bakes her yummy things, and has stood by her side and gone above and beyond what anyone else would have. Anger makes us say dumb things, and I hope once they cool off they can make up- it's clear Cass isn't looking for attention cause she's got her heart set on a blimping blonde, and even Stacey can see that! Anyway, damn- the guts to mix excellent boob shots with drama.

As an aside, it just kind of occurred to me that outside of making Lexi fat, Cass doesn't really seem to care too much about Lexi's interests or concerns. And I think the same could be said for Lexi as well. These two really have no common ground other than weight gain.

To be honest that's more of a weakness in my writing and a side effect writing in this type of genre, things like that that would've added depth get left behind to advance the main story faster. Definitely something that I'm keeping in mind to improve for future work.

It's a tough act to balance in fetish writing, but I really appreciate the little bonding bits you did at Cass' house, with the food and movies and all that cuteness. It was super sweet, and I liked how the main story progressed too!

Truthfully I don't find it a weakness. I think it was a well done way to get us to ignore the fact that this was an act of revenge. Just because it worked out in Cass's favor doesn't mean it still wasn't part of the revenge. Maybe I read too much into it, but I felt like it kind of turned the lens on the reader like "are you enjoying this story? This story of REVENGE?!" And the reader has to sit there and think to themselves "oh yeah... She absolutely removed her autonomy by cursing her with an insatiable hunger and weight gain... And ... Ruined her home life... And... School life ... Oh."
