In the humid dark of the ship‘s hold, the heavy footsteps on the wooden planks sounded like a dark rumble of thunder. The scent of rum, gunpowder and salt filled the air… evidence enough that John -once again- was captured and bound on Simon Riley’s ship.

„Back to stealing my gold, are we, Soap?“ Simon asks, his tone dangerously low.

„Hard to ignore treasures like yours,“ Soap replies, his grin widened without regret.

Simons sword touched his chin ever so lightly but still enough to make him raise his head.

„This time you’re not escaping,“ Simon murmurs with a glint of amusement - and John’s grin only grew broader.
