Honestly, I’m kinda sorry for Francis at this point. Despite being a purported genius, he clearly isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, the way he keeps making amazons who turn on him. I bet he was involved with that organization who tried to get the flower back in Scent of Amazons. 🤣

His problem is that he doesn't care much about ethics or empathy towards his subjects, he just wants to advance science regardless of who he hurts. Problem being of course that those subjects would rather also have a say in that, something that really annoys Francis. Which is why in Defiant Growth he tries to fix that annoying free will his subjects tend to have.
