I'm glad you caught the broken hearts in the coffee. I saw it too and thought the same. But, for now, it seems to mostly be setting the mood and doubt rather than full on foreshadowing. Remember, Seth Rogan is an executive producer AND the voice of Alan on this show. Seth likes his jokes, of course, but he has a real artistic eye and likes connecting the stories with the audience a lot. I like that this show not only gives time for all the characters to process trauma after these intense moments but it's not pandering or muted or over the top. It's like real therapy for the characters. Only real life doesn't have so many wise and calm people every where, lol.

I completely agree!! I like the way you put this TJ:) I adore this show, it really is one the best animated shows ive ever watched. You guys put me onto too many good shows and now I'm spoiled 😆
