SO.... onto the poll info! This poll contains some of the most popular recommendations from from you guys off previous posts! The movie list is quite extensive and contains movies from quite a few different genres, so let me know your thoughts and preference for what genre/kind of movies you would personally be interested in exposing me to!! 😆

As you can see we're doing random recommendation polls AND genre polls to get the best of both worlds, so I hope that's okay with you guys! ❤️

I say strike while Godzilla is hot. Watch the JAPANESE with English subtitles. Netflix might default to the dub.

How do I nominate movies to be on polls? I have two that have very little/zero reactor exposure but are amazingly good. The Grey (Liam Neeson survival movie) and Changing Lanes. Stupidly underrated movie with Ben Affleck and Samuel Jackson.

Glad you are feeling better now. I'll always keep pushing for Rocky because it's one of my favs and think you will genuinely surprise yourself with how much you like it (I know Mary Cherry was very surprised how much she enjoyed all of them). Although Godzilla minus one was fantastic and wouldn't mind that one winning as well.

Though it is currently last on this poll (tied with True Grit 2010 as I write), One day you MUST get to the Eastrail Trilogy of UNBREAKABLE, SPLIT and GLASS. They are all good, and Bruce Willis and Sam Jackson have great scenes in Unbreakable, but SPLIT is the showstopper here. James McAvoy should have at least been nominated for an Oscar. Stellar performance!

the first Rocky movie is a stand alone love story, sports movie 2nd. its a masterpiece and a crowning jewel of 70s film

You should watch Gallipoli, from 1981. One of Mel Gibson's first films -- maybe the first -- and a true classic from Down Under. You'd love it, I know.
