For sure Vicky and your opinion on characters will probably change constantly throughout the show as it did with me and others I'm sure 🙂 one of my favourite characters if not my favourite after Johnny has entered the fray and she kicks butt . The YouTube edit was released first which I watched yesterday so shall check this full reaction over the weekend with a morning coffee and a slice of cake or popcorn 🙂

I'll say this about Kreese, everyone deserves recurring second chances. Very very few offenses dictate a permanent judgement of character. And nobody gets it right on the first second chance they are given. But their actions matter. Kreese has a sad story, so do billions of others. Kreese has to prove with actions that his second chance means something to him and not just another opportunity to take what he wants, whatever that may be or may have been. Working with people like Kreese, you realize how difficult changing lifelong patterns really is for those that gave their whole identity to who they thought they should be in life. Kreese has relieved some skepticism but boundaries are still important to keep in measure. And there are merits to Cobra Kai's teaching. First, teens have a lot of pent up emotions which bubbles into anger and frustration. A healthy outlet, especially one that trains control and focus is good for some and builds confidence. Miyagi-Do is a better approach, in my opinion, but is more for those that can see it as a better option and for those that have had enough of the aggression and want peace. People that can see the pattern/cycle of aggression/self-destructive behavior. I see it like this, Cobra Kai is step 1 (get that aggression out), Miyagi-Do is step 2 (fill yourself back up with peace). Sometimes you don't need step 1 because life for you is already aggressive/hard enough. I said it before and I'll say it again, lol, Hawk is going to be a problem.

That's the great thing about this show there is so much going on. Your opinion the characters will change literally from episode to episode... your Lucky that your watching it now. The agony if waiting a year between seasons (two years between season 5 and the first third of 6 was absolutely excruciating.) However worth it. THIS SHOW IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!)

Good for you, it took me almost the whole episode to place Tory as Emma from Jessie! I think the black in her hair threw me off haha. I love that you have a such a soft spot for characters like Mr. Miyagi and Iroh. They’re similar in a lot of ways and both have a gentle wisdom but are such strong people. 🥹 Oh also! Thank you so much for the timer. Now that Netflix has commercials and I have to keep stopping your video, it helps a lot to sync!
