Release Notes: Monster Girl Tailes Patreon Release 0.39.1 (Patreon)

Before You Pledge: If you have been a Novice Hunters ($5 USD) or above any time between June 2023 and July 2023 there is no need to increase your pledge.   Check your messages for a Patreon-only link to the build.

This release was mainly about adding some really cool features like a new MiniGame, new world interactions and a new H Scene.

I also restored and embellished character dialogue and for more fun animated sequences and furthering the narrative.

Akeno's story can be completed again and her H scenes are unlocked. It should not take me very long to restore the rest of the characters.

Warning

This release includes large changes that resulted in a save file reset.  Your previous save files will not work :(

Improvements

• User Interface: Replaced old dialogue system with more flexible system and fresh UI.
• Dialogue: Updated facial and body animations when in dialogue.
• Dialogue: Converted Sensei's old dialogue to the new system and updated her spoken lines to match narrative.
• Dialogue: Converted Himeko's old dialogue to the new system and updated her spoken lines to match narrative.
• Dialogue: Converted Akeno's old dialogue to the new system and updated her spoken lines to match narrative.
• Dialogue: Converted Natsu's old dialogue to the new system and updated her spoken lines to match narrative.
• H Scene MiniGame: Added a new minigame for Service and Sex scenes.
• Outfits: Updated order of clothing items stripped for Sensei.
• Animation: Added animations for characters to remove clothing.
• User Interface: Changed icons to love hearts for phases in H Scene Miniame and relationship progress in Journal.
• User Interface: Changed the character portrait backgrounds in the Journal.
• Journal: Added portraits for Sefi and Natsu.
• Game Save: Moved game save file location
• Game Save: Reset file saves and you cannot use a save from previous versions of the game due to massive data reorganisation.
• Graphics: Kuroka's camp fire will  only be lit during the night.
• Level Design: You can now read the plaque on the female founder's statue plaque.
• Level Design: Added ability to place iems in the world.
• H Scene: new Service H Scene for Himeko.
• Performance: Miscellaneous performance tweaks.

Bug Fixes

• Animation: Characters no longer pop up and down when switching between animations.
• User Interface: When displaying response menu, response button text is defaulting to Bold instead of Normal.
• User Interface: Main Menu Credits are now more visible with correct background
• Lighting: Correct scene lighting is used when moving between levels
• Graphics: Sefi's cow ears now render the correct colour.
• Graphics: Restored the missing fire particles for Kuroka's camp fire.
• Mechanics: Combining 2 x items will now remove both items instead of just one of them.

Known Issues

• Camera clips through characters and terrain.
• Girls hover above ground.
• Tails clips through player and monster girl characters.
• Player's legs look too long and run animation looks weird.
• Water flickers in Fast quality mode.
• Kuroka's Facial Expressions do not work.
• Kuroka's Boobs clip through clothing when moving sometimes.
• Yuki's does not start the race or move at all.
• Sometimes character's legs bend in ways they shouldn't.
• Frost Plains level does not have trees and rocks.
