10 year Anniversary art! (Patreon)

When I was trying to come up with a really special way to celebrate my 10 year cosplay I knew one thing I wanted to get myself was some original art. I was wracking my brain trying to come up with fun ideas that would really capture the epic feeling of an entire decade of cosplay. I wanted something that would truly do it justice but I also wanted something that would mean a lot to me and hold some sort of extra significance. I didn’t really know what that meant at first but I was laying in bed one night and came up with the BEST idea!

A recreation of the most popular comic cover in the world: Jim Lees X-men #1

When this comic came out it was record breaking! In fact, it’s still hold the record for most issues sold of all time. If you don’t know the history of this comic PLEASE do yourself a favour and go look it up!

Once I knew what I wanted, I approached an incredible artist on Instagram, whose art style mimics another one of my favourite artists, Bruce Timm! His name is Pandorademon on IG and I highly recommend you go check him out! Working with him has been a dream and I can’t begin to tell you how passionate he is about what he does. It’s all very exciting and I can’t wait to talk more about this project later and show you some more updates!
