When I tell you that I had a great time in Scotland please know that I’m fully lying. Oh my god, DO NOT GO ON FAMILY TRIPS TO PLACES YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO ENJOY!!! The trip was filled with stress inducing driving, some mild vehicular damage, a hurricane, grumpy parents, too much walking but not enough walking, hours of doing nothing then complaining, so much rain that we had to cancel a bunch of things, and…so much more. BUT BUT BUT!

I still made the most of it and got to see so many incredible things and let loose a little when the time was right. I love Scotch, castles, and mountains so it’s sort of the perfect place in a way. We did Edinburgh, the isle of sky, fort Williams, Inverness, and half a day in Glasgow. I saw the Loch Ness monster, did some distillery tours, went to some arcades, and spent a lot of time contemplating while looking at some beautiful scenery and building.

I really think I need a do over with friends or alone because wow. I’m still recovering.

You’ve done more of Scotland than I have and I’ve lived here my whole life. Still, I’d get smashed with you in a second.

"I saw the Loch Ness monster, did some distillery tours, went to some arcades...." Now, wait a second, you can't just gloss over that first part, Mike
