I'm a mouth breather - also upkeep version 1.1.7a! (Patreon)

Hey all! How has Christmas/holiday been for you so far? I hope well! Or at least better than mine. I spent mine lying on the couch "watching" home alone movies. Not because I like those, but that's simply what the television was showing and god knows I didn't care what was on because I was sick again... a bit worse than the first time. Pffff... I'm cursed.

Well, whatever. At least it was during my break so I didn't feel too bad about getting behind schedule which helps.

I'll write a bit of a bigger update tomorro... oh apparently later today... That's fine too. Just here to upload some links.

Like I said before this is an upkeep version. Nothing really new, just me trying to fix some long standing annoyances and uploading them to make it an official build. You might just as well decide to wait for the FET build in January again when there will be some real story progression once more and and new scenes. That will be for the end of January though.

So for anyone curious, what's the sort of stuff I did in this build? Not as much as I had hoped but I've been looking for and fixing some smaller bugs, some mini-games(like book2's blackjack) improving on some scenes here and there, but nothing which is reeeally worth mentioning. The biggest "raison d'etre" would be my attempt at adding scenes to the gallery. There's still a lot to be done/added, but I'm fairly happy with the amount of work I did.

Most of Books 1, 2 and 3 and book 4's love route scenes are there. Not all though! It still needs more work, but it doesn't feel like a complete stump of a feature anymore. Going through the game and finding all the scenes is pretty damn time consuming, but I've finally been getting somewhere with this.

I was still messing around with how to unlock those scenes right up until today and I decided to unlock the entire book's amount of scenes after finishing that book (for now). I'd like to do it for each singular scene as you play it but that would take me much more time. The variables for unlocking didn't exist yet so you couldn't have unlocked them, even if you DID finish it all.

That's why I made it such that if you're playing the epilogue, the earlier books of the same route will unlock. So if you load your save file on Ember Island during the love epilogue and walk around for a bit it will unlock the earlier book's scenes in the gallery for the love route part. Same goes for the other route if you walk around the Compound at the South Pole during the epilogue. So remember if you decided to download this build and check it out don't immediately open up the gallery or you'll notice it says nothing is unlocked yet.
