Update - closer than ever (Patreon)

Hey all, it's probably too late to wish everyone a  happy new year, right? Well... Fuck that! Happy new year everyone!  And I hope your first normal weekend of the year is a nice and relaxed one.  And of course here's the obligatory link to the linkhub post for older/other projects if you haven't seen that one yet.

Okay, let's bring you up to speed on what I've been busy with. Spoiler, you already know.

I've been doing what I always do, which is working on FET (while I still can!)  We're moseying to the end of the last route and I'd like to have the next build close it out. For the first seven days of this year I've been working on setting up all the "scaffolding" for the build and this weekend I started working on the art and dialogue etc. which is basically me saying that I've done the relatively easy part first.

That's not how I normally do things. I usually create all the art for the scenes first and then start working on the actual next build.  I'm not entirely certain why I decided to do it this way, but it does leave me with a super bare bones build which can be run through till the end of the route... It feels like walking through an unfinished house where the heating, light bulbs, drywall etc. etc.  is missing, but still... it's a nice feeling to have at least that much done.

There's a lot  to do and that' s without my mind trying to add stuff along the way.  But regardless, we're getting closer and closer to the end of FET. Just for anyone who doesn't know yet, once this route is over there will be a final chapter of sorts which will tie stuff from the overarching story together and truly end things.

Even though it's still months away, I'm really looking forward and fearing that final moment!  I'm Looking forward to it because I can finally finish the story whose end was devised such a long time ago. I don't regret doing two routes per book, but that has made this a looong process.  I'm anxious because I won't be certain the player will actually like the end or not.

With FET slowly nearing its end, I've also steadily been getting more questions about what the next step for MITY will be after FET is done.  I'm not actively thinking about that. Let's first get FET finished in a hopefully satisfying manner to everyone and whatever happens afterwards, happens afterwards.

I'm racking my brain to see if there's anything interesting I can tell you about, but there's really not much more I can come up with. This is basically just a post telling you I'm keeping my nose to the grindstone and getting things done!

Now, this will be an important build(as all route endings) so I can't give you an estimation of when it will be done yet. Just know that I'll do my best to make it exciting and perverted... and maybe a tad emotional.
