Bit late into the day, but whatevs. It took longer than I thought it would to spell-check.

So! I hope you've all had wonderful days so far, but if your evening's are dull, then perhaps I might have a solution :P (unless you're not in my time-zone, then idk if it's evening for you)

See, about a month or so ago, I challenged myself to write a short story. You may have noticed that my stories tend to be rather long lmao. The idea is that I'll write something that is under 100k words. Just to prove to myself that I can actually write a short story.

It's set in Highschool DxD, and narratively it's inspired by the likes of 'Brockton's Goddess' and 'Prison of Glass', one of which I believe is also inspired by the other lol.

But yeah, my idea was that I'd have an entire completed story to just drop on you as a surprise, cuz that's the sort of thing I find funny.

Unfortunately, I didn't quite manage to finish it in time. So instead I will just drop the first two acts (which is near perfectly 50k words) and I will also be dropping a different 13k opening chapter to a story I wanna write out at some point.

That one is an RSM story, which stands for Reverse Sexual Morality. Typically those stories are just smut fests, which this will probably not be. I just find the idea of RSM so damn interesting. It's such a potent narrative vector to display gendered roles and discriminations and such in a way that's digestible cuz it' funny. I find it really fascinating, but kinda doubt I'll do it justice.

But yeah, that's 63k words total coming out today! Yattaa!!! (I'll try to finish the short story in time for new years)

There might even be a little bit more, cuz I have an idea for a Ten Shadows omake to write. It won't be long, but I'll see if I can pump that out before the day is out. Will probabl only be about 1k more words.
