Hahaha! That's a good point. I admit I didn't do a very good job of distinguishing Cabaret Bara's concept from a strip club, but we'll explore that in more detail in episode 2 so hopefully I can make up for it then. In the meantime, I can offer a little bit of insight on my thinking. CB is first and foremost a host club so they don't hire only based on looks. Otherwise they would hire all the hot - but dull - guys like Jérémie from earlier. For hosts, they try to hire guys who fit different archetypes and who'll have an interesting shtick, quirk, or je-ne-sais-quoi that distinguishes them from the others. That's why Alek sees timid Markus as an interesting host, cause he checks a box no one else at CB checks. And some people do have a thing for shy guys 🙈 Regarding the Top Three's lack of enthusiasm at the idea of hiring Finn, they really all have their own reasons. Darryl has already seen Finn work at BigBucks and the guy can barely pour coffee without fucking up so he's not exactly jumping at the idea of training him all over again lol. For Alek, it's more about him being worried that the Fates are pulling the strings cause the guy who just became an Ero Angel "randomly" auditions at his workplace. So he's worried that having Finn around him might be playing into the Fates' hand. But I admit I left that a bit vague and maybe I should've addressed it directly instead of leaving it up to subtext. Now for Nik, I agree, he is being kind of an asshole, but to be fair, that's his personality lol! He hates the idea of having to hire Finn because he's Sean's brother. He doesn't wanna be told what to do and he doesn't want Finn to come in thinking he runs the place. Nik can be a little territorial at times and if he doesn't like something - or someone - he's not the type to keep it quiet... So yeah, kind of an asshole lol! But I like to think that's part of his charm. He's that toxic guy with a good heart deep down. Very deep down xD. Thanks for giving me an excuse to ramble about my boys hahaha
