In Sofia Romero's story, we had our first look at where all the funds for RR Labs' operation and Participant compensation are coming from as well as insight into the source of factors influencing RR Labs' R&D priorities:

Who was your favorite Board of Investors member introduced in Chapter 10 of Sofia Romero's story?

To tell you the truth, I can't say that I have a favorite investor. Her shares in the universe have been small, but that little segment in Sofia's story was enough to make me want to know more about them. Each one brings something different with her personality or her context, one more than others, which keeps me waiting for her next appearance in the universe, even if it comes down to a simple mention of one of the characters: Brooke Beckett and her cosmetics empire, which makes me imagine a similar use for the subjects in the Injectd series, with injections of subjects into women as a kind of psychological placebo to give them more confidence and boost their self-esteem, like the effect of Adam's injection had in Evette. In addition to the fact that Brooke is directly linked to another character introduced in Sofia's story. Joan Bexley with her direct relationship with the project, being the mother of Dr. Alexandria, and director of a company specialized in biomedicine and genetics, with which perhaps she not only provides resources for her daughter's study, but also helps me I imagine it would expand the use of reduction therapy in the world. In addition to the little importance that she gave to having been corrected by her daughter with the name of Dante. Joyce Emerson and the mystery surrounding the origin of her wealth and the extent of her influence; as well as the possibility of injecting hundreds or thousands of subjects into her body (although Emerson is my least favorite investor out of all of them). Darlene Gonzales and her position as a political lobbyist, who I imagine has the ability to manipulate the political and communication media so that the investigations of the R&R Laboratory are not interrupted or are frowned upon by society (someone wants to think about the subjects!), and support the senator in accepting any legal proposal in favor of the investigations or in her political campaign for a more powerful position. I even envision a scenario in which she is the means by which Renee gets rid of political rivals or journalists who jeopardize her image or lab's image. Suzanne Hudson for reasons similar to those of Joyce Emerson, but with the addition of her apparent fear of men and the mystery of her origin, such as some traumatic event in the past or just a bad experience that caused her a slight androphobia (although the term is used exclusively for extreme cases of aversion to men), and she sees her participation in the board of investors as a way to find a solution to her problem; her mature princess appearance and curious and lively attitude. In addition to her treatment towards Dante, having the prudence to ensure his durability, but without having greater considerations when throwing him in Joyce's seat, in a mere playful and innocent act on her part. Renee Langley and her political power, who surely has enough influence in society to encourage the use of reduction technology and persuade the male public to “voluntary” participate, as well as convince the female public to accept it as normal and even necessary the Reduction & Relocation of the subjects. Wanda Turner and her scientific and academic fascination with reduction therapy, which reminds me of the same attitude of Dr. Walker towards the subjects. If I had to pick one from the list for this poll, it would be Brooke Beckett, just ahead of Joan Bexley and Suzanne Hudson. Not only because of all of the above, but also because of that whisper she shared with Wanda when she held Dante in her hands, and the glint he saw in their eyes when he contemplated telling the whole truth about his situation. It makes me think of an owner/pet relationship between Brooke and a subject, as well as a symbol of her power.
