In a way, Ponzus death is always the most heartbreaking. She is just so... inconsequential. like, you don't think you'll ever gonna see her again after the Hunter Exam and the she turns up like this... but she was a real hero to the end, without her, Kite Gon and Killua would probably not have been able to find the nest as quick.

Nah that's not platinum blonde, I can see what Montana is trying to say, but this is anime, regular rules do not apply. Those guys have the whitest hair. The creator of To be hero X also has a bunch of white haired characters and he was asked why and he just said he likes white hair. It's that simple. White hair looks cool

I would argue that Killua has straight white hair whereas Kite is somewhere between lilac and platinum hair. But I'm just going off of some Google image results. In Kennys case its probably just best to agree with Montana lol

The question about the father is really good because it’s so true. And it’s like that with a lot of Shonen (I know Shonen is mostly catered towards young men). The father gets killed or is absent and a huge part of the MC’s motivations will come from that. It’s the similar irl too. The father could be a deadbeat and not do much for the child but then they will hear their father talk bad/blame it all on the mother and they’ll believe it instantly even though they see their mom’s take care of them and actively love them. A good amount of boys idolize their father or another male figure over their mother

I like that I this Mito really doesn't *actually* bad mouth ging and willingly shares *good* memories she has with him to Gon, she could have very well have been all "he's good for nothing that did blah blah blah then run off without a care ect" but she doesn't she just tells him how it was, he showed up one day with Gon dropped him off then dipped(which was probably for the best considering how much danger Gon would have been in from a tiny age otherwise), respect to Mito in not making up "what ifs" and "could be's" ect

Something I noticed when first watching this episode is that Reina means Queen in Spanish, and I wonder if they did that partly to symbolize how Colt’s desire to protect his sister has transferred over to the Queen now that he’s a chimera ant
