Al got owned, and then Kat destroyed the person who owned him. From Al's perspective, the level difference between him and Kat is huge. But take a second look at page 4-115. Al was trying to do something very cool, and nearly succeeded. Kat saw that. She knows he's capable of so much more. What a great moment.
