I've sketched out the locations that appear within the first objective and linked them all together! They're ready to be sent to my BG assistant for line art 🎉
In August I'm nailing down a progress milestone list so I'm on track every month and not falling behind bc I wasn't paying attention to time. I'll be locking down a musician next month too (or at least I'll try XD). A little quality of life update: I changed the player movement control to allow the option of holding down the left mouse button and Dan will walk towards the cursor automatically instead of only moving to where the player has clicked on the ground (which still works)! Also decided the characters will need animated walk cycles after all since it looks like they're ice skating lol
Gameplay-wise I don't want to reveal any mechanics yet aside what you'd expect from a point-n-click adventure. I realized that the pacing of this game, like the comic, is very slice-of-life. It's not survival horror where it's spooky 100% of the time, it's a horror game where you play as the murderous monster who's also attending classes and doing school work with a demon who won't leave you alone (that you won't admit you like). ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
