Of all the changes they've made to the original, I feel like one of the most obvious shifts is getting rid of Aang's crush on Katara, and in this episode, they reassigned an Aang/Katara moment into a brotherly-sisterly Katara and Sokka moment. How do you feel about this change? Do you think it speaks to a desire to change that pairing or just not to get into it yet while the actors/characters are so young?

What did you think about the change to the Tale of Two Lovers, making them both women? Do you see this as an attempt to add queer characters/relationships in a small way to add surface level representation, if so what do you think about having this particular story be the queer story? Or do you see this as a potential indicator that, moving into seasons 2 and 3, we will see more queer characters/relationships, potentially in larger roles, and if so, are there any places in particular you would like to see this (both what you can see them realistically doing and your wildest dreams)?

What do you think about the changes made to Bumi's character and him being so angry with Aang? Also, do you think him being on Aang's side at the end was a little too sudden, like they didn't know how to naturally resolve the animosity he has toward Aang to have the episode end like it did in the animation?
