Great reaction as always. This episode actually sparked two interesting conversations with my sister. 1. The scene with Chook and Cash. I don’t remember if they went into their backstory in season 1, but I did remember Chook asking Cash at a point to hang out “just the two of them like the good old days.” And now how he kept the other Eshays from harming Cash in jail and decided to forgive him (keep in mind this is BEFORE the charges were dropped). How he said “Anyone else ratted on us the way you did they’d be f*cking gone.” I didn’t realize how different Chook’s relationship with Cash is compared to the others. It made us talk about how often the way Some people treat others does not equate to how much they care about them. Despite his many, MANY flaws, I believe Chook to be incredibly loyal. And would burn the world to the ground if anyone ELSE harmed his “Brothers.” I also believe that despite using it quite manipulatively, Chook truly sees his fellow Eshays as his chosen family, ESPECIALLY Cash. Hence all this grace. Even after the betrayal he wants things to go back to normal. He wants his “Brother” back. So now i’m even more worried for Cash since Chook seems to have deeper motivations to hold onto him than I first thought. 2. The scene with Ant and Harper. My sister still had some beef with Harper from last season. But that scene solidified for us how Harper often turns to romance/sex when in a poor emotional state. It is how she attempts to “heal.” So now Sis has a bit (and I mean a BIT) more grace for Harper with the situation last season with Malakai and Dusty. She genuinely thought it would ”help” Malakai the way it “helps” her. Good on Ant for looking at the situation as a whole and stopping her from potentially making another regrettable decision. I’m looking forward to seeing where their relationship goes. Whether Platonic or Romantic.

I haven't actually thought about WHY he is trying so hard to get Cash back so that's a good point. In S1 I just took it that Cash felt very alone and was therefore quite easily mislead and controlled by Chook but now, like you said it genuinely feels like he can't let his brother go. My beef with Harper has already vanished tbh, completely get if people still have issues but for me, it's water under the bridge. So looking at these two, I genuinely LOVE the idea of them getting together 😭 there's smthn about Ant that's so endearing but I can't put my finger on it, like sometimes he's a dick but it always feels like he doesn't realise he's being one lol

Sorry a little late , but i'm pretty sure the “language" they were speaking in the beginning was “pig Latin” which actually goes back a long time. It's usually used when people don't want others to understand what they are saying. I suggest looking it up if you don't know about it, it's interesting.
