I'm just so done with everyone at this point always blaming Damon for everything Ric was so out of line with what he told Damon like sorry you were in this mess right from the time of Isobel. I just don't get it at times Damon is like a punching bag for everyone. It's not fair, I'm not saying Damon is perfect or not at all with any faults but it's really unfair to put all this on him.

Ric just felt very much not like himself, idk if he was feeling insecure about his relationship with Caroline cause Stefan was back or what, but he just felt like there was far more going on than Damon leaving. But yeah idk where this whole thing about Damon being the one always causing issues for Ric came from cause they've all been through shit from multiple different 'villains' that Damon had nothing to do with 😭

Yeah same, it would have been so sad to watch her go through all the stuff with Julian, spend a few years with Stefan where she never felt the same love she gave out to then just die 😭 I hope she genuinely finds happiness now

I agree with Andrea, everybody that had contact with the supernatural world, cannot escape from it. It's like you got awareness to it but the supernatural is aware of you too and before or after it will catch up with you. Alaric has a pair of twin from the Gemini coven as daughters, I don't know what he is thinking but they are as supernatural as supernatural can get, does he think that they will not have to merge before or after? Or that they will not syphon magic even by accident? It is so not Damon's fault that the supernatural world exist and is freaking very active giving problems to everybody. That is their life, and not acknowledge it, pretending that is not there is delusional. Alaric is delusional with Caroline too. I understand that poor thing he wants a family, he is a good person, a very attractive man, that had a very unlucky love history, and in other circumstances he would be a great catch, what not to love there? But Caroline it is obvious that is with him because of the kids, because Stefan wasn't there, because she feels Stefan let her down, again. The point is he knows that, as Valery do, and pretending that the elephant is not in the room, is not a good idea. But let's remember why Damon decided to desiccate himself, because everybody were hammering him that he is a menace to all his loved one, so he takes himself out of the equation, then he comes back to d save the day as usual , because only Damon can solved. impossible situations and he still get hammered for leaving, either way he get blamed, he can win. Without him wanting badly to save Stefan and not giving up on him, Stefan would be dead, Valery and Caroline would be mad and deeply sad and Alaric would feel the consequences. He knows that, that is why he agreed to take part in the whole thing in the first place. But somehow Damon that avoid the whole entire disaster from happening, include a dangerous serial killer on the loose, has nobody on his side, nobody is giving him some slack.

I am following him too now, but I founded him a bit disappointing in the last episodes. He is not on the level of Harry, sometimes completely miss the importance of certain crucial scenes. With Harry even if sometimes I disagree with him, because he is a first timer and it's difficult to remember everything and put them together the first time, still, his level of reasoning has more depth and his level of maturity also help him to be more insightful. I am always looking forward to his reactions, with Liam I feel a bit less enthusiasm.

I get it. Reel-time are fun too but they miss many things lol but I like their level of enthusiasm for the show and characters one of them is funny too the Damon lover lol.
