Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

Just to clear up the sacrifices. The animal sacrifices at the beginning of the season were what gave Jennifer enough strength to look the way she does now. Virgins: being able to seduce and look innocent Warriors: strength Healers: Healing Philosophers: strategy Guardian: Protection

I love that both Melissa and the Sheriff both found out for sure about the supernatural by seeing Scott being all wolfy. I thought Stiles saying "mom would have believed me" is just so sad. Ethan and Danny were SO CUTE like omg plssss gimme more. Your reaction to the piano teacher dying was HILARIOUS cuz it was such an unexpected thing. Btw, if you ever wondered about the chemistry between Alison and Isaac, I believe the two actors were dating IRL during this.

Google Drive still getting hung up halfway through. Dropbox working fine, though

Also, Lydia “hearing things” and finding dead bodies? Banshees (the Bean Sidhe) are drawn to death as harbingers, signaling death with a wail/scream. Banshees have an inherent connection to the supernatural, but they are apart from it and immune to it. It’s why she’s not affected by mountain ash, Peter’s bite, or kanima venom

I was literally sat there thinking "well if you're gonna kill your last teacher you may wanna hurry up" AND THEN GIRLIE GOT SLICED 😭

God I love this episode. Season 3 is full of absolute bangers (with most of them still to come) and this is one of them. While the Jennifer reveal is perhaps a little obvious (like you said, the show has a problem where since it *had* to be someone we know, the choices were limited especially since we know most the characters pretty well by now — enough that nobody was fooled by the Argent red herring lol), the Lydia reveal is one of my all-time favorites. The fact that it was built up since season 1 is what makes it so great. Plus banshees are not super common in modern media, so it gives the show a lot of room to play around with the concept.

Scott's goodness, Stiles (in general), and Lydia's character and abilities are the things that truly MAKE this show imo

I also wanted to add something on the Allison parts of this episode. I think the reason why she was so ready to believe that her dad was the Darach was because all her family members ended evil. Her aunt turned out to be a psychotic arsonist and killer. Her mom tried to kill her boyfriend. Her grandfather is a psychopath of the highest degree. It's not hard for her to then jump to the conclusion that her dad has also gone mad, especially after losing all that happened to his family.

It’s funny because I’ve never watched this season with the idea that maybe the writers also wanted us to think it was Argent beyond this episode, but I guess they sort of set it up that way as well. With him going to check out the aftermath of the werewolf fight, going to talk to Gerard, and generally acting as if he were being sus throughout the season. But I just never saw it that way because it seemed obvious he was just investigating things on his own and trying to keep Allison uninvolved. Then again I didn’t watch it live so I don’t know if people at the time thought it could be him.

I didn't watch it live either and I also never thought of him as an option. However, from Allison's point of view, it makes perfect sense that her father could be the darach. They don't know a lot about how druids work and even less about how dark druids work. From her pov, she just sees that her dad is keeping something from her and everytime something is kept from her, it's usually because it's bad. So I get why she jumped to this conclusion. It also makes me think that the writers weren't trying to make us Argent was the drama, but just progressing fluidly naturally with how the characters (Argent and Allison) should act after all this trauma.
