Fantastic opening episode, can't wait to see the direction they take with both Charlotte and the growing diversity of the ton!

I was curious so I looked it up, and Queen Charlotte is 69 in season 1 of Bridgerton, but the actress is only 54

I think the implication is that the Bridgerton world prior to this wasn’t fully segregated, only the Ton because that was the titled people of society and people of colour weren’t titled. After Charlotte married George, the Queen Dowager gave titles to POC (like with Lord and lady Danbury) thus fully integrating society.

Charlotte is supposed to be 17 so there’s around 50 years between this show and the current timeline. You can tell from the Queen having a grand daughter old enough to have been married that passed away in childbirth

I am soo eager for you to get to s3, however, I absolutely love this spin off so much, Corey (George) and India (Charlotte) are just INCREDIBLE in this. I can't wait to see all of your thoughts throughout these episodes. Side note, I love that we get these flashes to present day and I can't wait for you to see more of them.
