Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

Dropbox says about 24 mins and then Teen Wolf shall be up! Also remember to lemme know if you like the new style of video or not, happy to go back if its not a vibe heh

It's a rough day in the US so this is gonna get me through the last hour of work, ty Harry :)

With the new editing, I like it being a bigger screen for the show, but I don't like the way you have your bubble blocking part of the show. So in that sense, my opinion is that I do prefer the old way

Harry Allen

I'm gonna play around and see if there's a way to get the best of both worlds as I wanna have the show bigger but I know what U mean, depending on the scene it can block important bits

Facebitch

I second this! I don't mind the larger screen, but I don't like the bubble blocking anything

Mimi

I think I prefer the other way. I rather see more of you than the show, since that's what I'm here for. I also agree with the other comments about blocking the show, which the old way avoids. Whatever you choose is all good tho! :)

Kol's conflict of interest with Davina is an exact contrast to the rest of the Mikaelsons' "Family Above All Else". Like even Rebecca, who's wanted her own life forever, will always come back to choosing family. Freya, who wasn't even part of "Always and Forever" is constantly sacrificing for her family. And even Elijah, as much as he loves Hayley, still can't stop himself from attacking her in his mind, but I feel like he might have stopped if it had been Klaus or Rebekah. Kol's the only one who, I think, truly prioritizes something more over his siblings. And that doesn't mean he doesn't love him, but he really wants a separate identity too.

Kitty Underwood

Klaus has mentioned before that he's killed hundreds of thousands of people

I prefer the old way. And please, use subtitles. The volume of the show is quite low, so I need the subtitles to understand what they are saying.

FedeM

I prefer the old editing as well and I have the same volume issues with your reactions. To be clear, I don't mind the new way, but yeah, the old editing didn't cover your reaction at all while this new way the bubble can block some of the video.

Dw I am planning on going back or seeing if I can do smthn else BUT are these audio issues smhtn specific to my videos? Would it help if I increased the show audio as well? I always worry if the levels are good or not heh

FedeM

The volume of your voice is perfect but I just find the volume of the shows way too low and therefore harder to follow without subtitles. So yeah, I guess increasing the show audio would help, even just a little bit. Thank you for taking in the feedback Harry, no matter what you decide to do <3

Harry Allen

Thank you! Always handy to get feedback on things cause it can get complicated when editing and hard to ACTUALLY tell when things are good or not

Kristin

I have this same issue and think increasing the show volume would definitely help.

I think the old one is better. When it's only a bubble with You in it, it's kinda hard to watch You and the show - I just don't pay as much attension to You as i used to.

IMO I've never thought that the argument about Elijah's personality being entirely performative is right or correct, specially when it's used to make arguments like "Elijah is worse than Klaus", because there is no shot, NO WAY, to objectively come to that conclusion based on the facts we know, there quantifiable evidence of the contrary is just too large. The red door isn't just Elijah putting on a performance, it was Elijah's compartmentalizing his actions; and YES, there is a lot of self delusion and self loading and many many other flaws, but to then say that the entirety of his personality is a lie or a performance it's just crazy... The reason why there is a red door, the reason why compartmentalizes the bad things he had done, IS BECAUSE he wanted and the very least tried to have a code, to have honor, to not be an utterly terrible person... Don't get me wrong, I would never argue that Elijah is a "good" person, you quite literally can't argue that successfully; but to say that his good side it's all an act it's just crazy... That's what he aspired to be, and for many years, for centuries, that's how he has behaved EXCEPT FOR VERY SPECIFIC INSTANCES... It isn't a persona and he isn't deceiving himself or others, he is the first to call himself a monster, he knows that he isn't a good person; he doesn't call himself honorable and he didn't walk around for centuries forcing people to call him that, he got that reputation because of his own actions... There is a reason why, like Klaus pointed out all the way back, "Elijah always inspires admiration"... So while there is a lot of trauma that Elijah has actively tried to separate himself from, he has always been aware of what he is, his personality just reflects what he is trying to be... Similar with Stefan, the reason why people consider him to be a better person is because that's what he tries to be; does he succeeds all the time? HELL NO!, but it's not a mask, it's not him trying to put on a "good guy persona", it's him fully aware of how much of a monster he can be and trying (and a lot of times failing) to not be that, to have some sort of moral standard. That's why I also don't agree with the argument that says "Klaus is morally better than Elijah because at least he doesn't hide what he is"... It's just ridiculous in so many levels because, first, he does justify his bad actions a lot of the times. He doesn't claim that they are morally good actions, but he does justifies what he does in some petty, twisted ways... Second, Elijah doesn't justify his actions and he doesn't call himself good, he never has... And finally, and this is probably the most telling, quantifiable way to knock down the argument about "Elijah being WORSE than Klaus"; EVEN IF YOU BUY INTO the argument that Elijah's entire "honorable guy" personality IS entirely performative (which like I said, I don't), even if you think it was all an act to make other people like him, THAT STILL MEANS that there were a lot of bad shit, a lot of crimes, a lot of awful shit like the kind we know for a fact that Klaus has done, that Elijah DID NOT DO, because of that "act"... It's like, even if you assume the worst possible take about his less than horrible "side", that still means that he stopped himself from doing countless horrible stuff over centuries because of it... Horrible stuff that we know for a fact that Klaus did, simply because he could do it and because he did not care about stopping himself... The reality is that Elijah's desire and attempts of being honorable and having a code of conduct, being whatever "good" means in the context of these monsters, mean that he, in a QUANTIFIABLE way, has done fewer awful stuff than a character like Klaus or Kol that simply did not care about his actions and "didn't hid what they were"... The simple fact that Klaus doesn't care, doesn't hide and ACTIVELY enjoyed being bad, makes him a worse person by default; the very minimum that you can ask these monsters in order to even try to view them in a good light (like we are seeing with Klaus these later seasons) is for them to realize, understand, regret and attempt to do better for their bad actions... That's why I never understood the argument made by some about characters like Elijah or Stefan, who at the very least tried to restraint themselves for the better part of their lives, that somehow that makes them worse than the other characters who freely expressed, embraced and reveled in the worst parts of themselves... On one hand, not understanding or not caring to understand if your actions and morally bad, makes you morally worse than someone who at the very least tries to stop himself from doing those stuff (even if, like I said, you believe the worse possible reasoning for why they stop themselves); and on the other have, the simple fact that these characters HAVE stopped themselves, means that Elijah has FAAAAAAAAR, FARRRRRR less crimes and far less sadistic bad deeds under his name... We literally heard of thousands upon thousands of stories about Klaus killing whole families, compelling parents to kill their babies, killing them himself, while at the same time hearing about his reasons, which were boredom, entertainment, greed and all manner of petty reasoning including simply the fact that he could do such things without suffering consequences; HOW MANY of those stories have we heard about Elijah? How many times have we seen, or heard, or has been implied, that Elijah wiped out a village for no reason at all? let alone have done it thousands of times... Like I said, don't get me wrong, it isn't like I'm saying that he is innocent and that he is a "good" person, FAR FROM IT; but some of the arguments against his character, specially the ones that are made in the attempt to make Klaus as a character shine by comparison (very similar to the arguments made to put down Stefan's character to make Damon look better in turn) are just incredibly bias in most cases.
