Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

i forgot the episode ended w the reveal, i was very glad when i watched this when it came out to not have to wait to watch the next episode so cannot imagine how you're feeling rn, lol! fun fact, this eps title romancing mister bridgerton is the title of the book this season is based on.

It's only as I'm doing this rewatch that I'm realising how formulaic this show is (not in a bad way!) There's just quite a few patterns, ep 4 for all seasons has ended in an engagement. Ep 6 is a reveal/where the shit hits the fan lol (Simon's secret being revealed and Daphne's assault, Anthonys failed wedding to Edwina, Lady W reveal). Its just interesting to me.

I agree about how cool it is to see the dynamics of different families in the ton. If we focused on the Bridgertons every other parent or debutante would probably seem cartoonishly evil or dumb. The Bridgertons are extremely rare type of family where everyone is close, open and happy. Seeing the other families kind of brings you back to reality and reminds the audience of the troubles these characters are facing.

I instantly got chills when Portia said “Ladies don’t have dreams. They have husbands.” One of my favourite scenes of the whole show, it’s such a raw and honest conversation to have. The unspoken part of that sentence “Ladies do not *get to* have dreams. *All* they have are husbands” is so heartbreaking.

I just love how much you understand Penelope's struggle to give up Whistledown, a lot of people who review this show dont really understand and think she should easily give it up now that she has a way out but it is just so much more complicated than that and I just really appreciate you seeing why from her perspective!

I mean none of the Featherington girls ever received genuine/openly support/love from their mother and see the difference behavior in there mother so I understand Prudence felt that way

Colin and Penelope aren't really supposed to be alone until they are married, that's why Lady Featherington is in the room with them. Daphne was a chaperone for Colin and Marina in season 1, but she tried to pretend she wasn't listening, whereas Lady Featherington did not lol

I totally agree with you on the Eloise/Cressida situation. I really do not like the choices the writers made when writing Eloise' perspective. For a character that has always been portrayed as being very smart and articulate, she seems to lack any kind of empathy or understanding for Cressida's situation. For someone who always speaks or about the injustices that women face on this society, she displays total disregard for Cressida's feelings. I was really disappointed with her this season 😔

Loving catching up with your Bridgerton reactions after seeing you pop up on you tube with s1. I started with s3, as it's my favourite and you make me feel cold hearted for how I feel about Cressida! Don't get me wrong, the forced marriage is awful and I don't blame her one bit and I do think Eloise hasn't been a good friend to her, but then Eloise never really used to listen to Pen either. Her frienships do always feel a bit one sided, as she's still learning how to listen to someone else about their life (her shock Pen was seeking a husband shouldn't have been a shock if she'd listened to her friend in s.1 and 2 for example). That all being said, I can't feel completely sorry for Cressida as she's been a bully to Pen for years and seemed to take delight in it every single time she could hurt or humiliate her, so Eloise befriending her bully must've added to the hurt.
