The character progression of this show is something else, so proud of Athena this episode! She is fucking amazing for being where she is already and major respect to Bobby as always ❤️

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

From someone who has been the kid that the parents stay together for, it does suck.

The more Harry talks about this show, the more curious I am about what his reactions are gonna be for S2. Oh, the irony.

my second favorite episode of the season! it always makes me emotional. the bobby stuff, chim helping him realize it’s a blessing at the end, the michael and athena scene. just so much of it wrecks me. and it’s so well acted. my love for these characters is endless. can’t believe you’re almost at the end of s1! only 2 episodes to go. i’m very curious how you’ll react to something going forward. most seasons do have 18 episodes. the exceptions being s1 with 10 because it was the first, s4 with 14 because of covid and s7 with 10 because of the strikes.

lol same sometimes he’ll say something and i’m like well…but i’m so excited for him to get to it. the show is at its peak in s2-s4.

I too wasn't a fan of how Michael treated the situation with his new beau and Athena. Regardless of gender, this is a very difficult time for her. It did feel at times like he's relating a lot of "I want you to accept my new partner" with "I want you to accept the fact that I'm gay", and that's not 100% what it is. Accepting the fact that he's gay and their marriage as she knew it is over is hard enough for Athena (which doesn't necessarily feel like it is for Michael), but she didn't even get the time to really process it before the shock of May's self harm incident...and then she was given a 2nd shock on the same night when Michael showed up w his new partner. It does feel like he never gave any real consideration for her (or even the kids) because while pretending he's straight/their marriage is still the same is NOT the right way, there needs to be a grieving process and a healing process first before any of them can find a new, amicable normal. I'm glad he accepted her decision for a divorce because that is absolutely the right move. I am forever pissed at Hen for what she did and Eva is absolutely a POS for attempting to ruin this family twice (once with knowingly going after a married woman and now by suing for custody). I felt SO badly for Bobby but I'm so glad Chimney was able to make him see the good in all this.
