Were you disappointed in everyone's reaction to Pen being Lady Whistledown? Some people love or hate it. I personally feel that they only acted okay with it because the Queen was okay with it, but it should be interesting to see if next season people will try to get revenge on Pen. Overall, were you happy with how Pen and Colin's love story played out? Do you wish the writers did anything differently with their relationship?

Very personally, I felt that the writers took away a lot of time from our leads, not allowing them to flesh them and their arguments out. We had SO many storylines this season its not even funny. - Cressida with Eloise - Cressida and her home life (which I get some people may like, but giving this focus to her in Penelope's season (the girl Cressida incessantly bullied) is criminal.

this season had some fairly mixed reactions from fans - you're typically either in the camp of you either love it or hate it - or you have mixed opinions on it. people had complaints about the balancing of storylines, or storylines they added (e.g. benedict's sexuality - bi benedict was a popiular headcanon since season 1 and some ppl had issues w the way it was introduced) changes to future storylines, costuming, the whistledown reveal - eloise is also a controversial figure this season bc of her treatment of cressida... i personally enjoyed it but i can see why some people may have disliked this season as they had a lot to cover and it had every potential to feel rushed (and perhaps in some parts it was). you may have touched on it at the end of the episode, however i'm very curious on your opinion on this season as a whole? did you have any issues with the things some of the other fans had issues with? do you think it did justice to penelope and colin's romance? pen and colin are a unique case of them both being established characters w history and far more set up than new love interests from previous seasons. sorry for the wall of text and loads of questions, lol

The timings were actually added up and this season has the most time allocated to the leads than the previous ones. I think it just feels like it didn’t because there were more side storylines & a separate love story going on at the same time.

Did you see Francesca being queer (possibly a lesbian) coming? And how do you think the show might handle her season when it comes given this aspect of her character and the society they live in? Just so you know, Francesca is straight in the books so this was a change and there were fans who fell on both sides of loving it and hating it.

Do you think there’s still room for Cressida to grow if she returns for the next season? I’m not sure if she’s been confirmed yet but I’d love to see a redemption arc for her

What do you think about how Portia reacted to learning Pen is LW, and how do you feel about where Penelope ends the season in regards to her relationship with her mother and sisters?

Hali

Each season has now explored a different romance trope: S1 was fake dating, S2 was enemies to lovers, and S3 was friends to lovers. Any guesses on what tropes might be explored in S4 (or any you hope might be)?

Hali

Now that everyone knows who LW is, how do you think the papers will be written in the future? I think it might be a gossip girl-style column where members of the ton send in secrets or scandalous info to Penelope in hopes that she’ll print it.

This is a bit of a long one so bear with me, it may also be an unpopular opinion so feel free to disagree: I fall under the category of people who really did not like this season, it just fell flat to me in a lot of areas in comparison to the other 2 but something in particular that I really did not like was how the whole Lady Whistledown storyline was handled, in general, but especially the reveal in this episode. To me it felt very anticlimactic as there was really no reaction or push back from anyone in the ton when they find out it was Penelope who wrote damning things about them or people they know, they just kind of stood there and accepted which didn’t feel right with me. I also did not think that the reaction the Queen had was the one I believed her to have when she found out - all throughout the 3 seasons of the show she has been hellbent on finding out who Lady Whistledown is and having these rewards in place for her reveal, even threatening Eloise to confess that is her in Season 2, only to turn round and suddenly be happy when she finds out it is Penelope and not making her face any sort of consequences for her actions - it all just felt very unrealistic and a cop out in my opinion What are your thoughts on the reveal as a whole and are you happy with the actions/reactions of those who found out or, like me, were you expecting more from them and expecting Penelope to face some consequences at least?

i’ve realised that you REALLY like the costume designs of the show, so i thought you would like to watch an interview the the costume department did last year after season 3 (i’ve waited until now so you wouldn’t get any spoilers)!!!! https://youtu.be/6FT_2c0wwKc?si=4NBFr5CWBx3twxeQ i would love to see you watching and commenting this interview. specially now that we won’t have any bridgerton content for at least a year🥲🥲
