i knew the old gay couple would break you 😭 i’ll always think it’s so special they included a whole montage of their lives together in this episode as for what calls firefighters in the us really respond to? from what i know, 70-80% of most are medical. the amount of fires they put out is actually quite low. i don’t know if they would respond to a robbery with minimal injuries though.

The gay couple....I'm currently 8 seasons into this show and I still remember them vividly. It's odd to say they're my "favourite" emergency because it does end with death but it's kind of true. I loved that they gave us a whole montage of their lives together. I loved that Thomas did end up following Mitchell after all and they "went together". And I'm choosing to believe that the shot of them, young, carefree and dancing, at the end of the episode was their reunion in Heaven. Such a tragic story but sweet at the same time.
