this is my favorite begins episode, so i could talk about it for ages, but i'll try to keep it short(ish)... in season 1, chimney feels he has to lie to his girlfriend to keep her entertained. in this episode we see similar behavior (although, very different people involved) when he makes up stories to mr and mrs lee and kevin because of the discrimination and racism he is experiencing at work. has your view on s1 chimney changed after seeing this? and do you think this might be connected to his father's dismissive/absent behavior?

Given this wealth of new Chimney-related information, is there anything in particular about his past that you'd be interested to learn more about in future episodes? Also, how do you think watch-order plays into your feelings about the Begins episodes? For instance, some of the guys that were giving Chimney a hard time in this episode seem to improve by the end. However, Hen Begins takes place afterward, and many of these same characters were dismissive and mysogonistic to her. Why do you think the show chose to do these Begins episodes in this order?
