Another fantastic episode, 'What If's' are always a banger of a concept so that was fun. Definately had some issues with Lizzie this episode, but I hope the subconcious 'memories' will stay with her and help with her growth, girlie got a lot to work on bless her 😭

Also, one thing I've noticed, I think Lizzie is the 'Damon' of this show. What I mean is that I think one focal point in the tvdu is always the sibling relationship with a twist, like the "good guy/bad guy-but-not-really" dynamic we explored with the Salvatore brothers first in tvd, and later with Elijah and Klaus in the originals, and the third element to that dynamic is always the Elena->Hayley->Hope of it all, respectively. So perhaps we're exploring the same thing in Legacies too but with the twins and maybe Lizzie appears to be the darker one of the two right now but we've learned that there can be hidden darkness in the other sibling as well so I'm VERY eager to explore further Josie's character

Hi Harry! not really a question more like i'd love to hear your opinion on this. i feel like this is an unpopular opinion but as someone who's watching this alongside you for the first time, it seems to me that people are very harsh on Lizzie for wrong reasons? like, for example, yes, she treats people selfishly and other obvious reasons, but i can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that people are harsh on her about Josie? i'm trying to blame her for how Jo is but it's Josie's own thing how she is? i don't know how to explain this.. if she were trying to be someone else or work on herself and Lizzie was going against it or something i would totally get it but she literally understands how codependent she is and still just chooses to be so.. and Lizzie, as she is, with her teen "i'm the it girl" personality (which leaves after some growth in most teens as i've experienced) just goes along with it.. Josie never stands up for herself, chooses to stay a caretaker and somehow it's Lizzie's fault. both girls have their own personalities that they choose to have and i think if it's anybody's fault they are struggling it's the parents. yes, they are amazing, yes they opened a whole school for them but maybe Caroline could do much more when raising Lizzie? She's a spitting image of how Caroline was before her own growth and i can't imagine Care wouldn't teach her daughter not to be that person she was long ago.. but i'm guessing we're gonna get to that in later episodes? maybe it really is Lizzie's issues and mental problems and "episodes" and she's just trying to cover it up by being mean.. and don't even get me started on Ric. his kids have all the issues in the world and somehow Hope's stuff always comes first, no wonder Lizzie is always mad about that. i also want to say as a first time watcher who heard bad things about this show, i can not believe i didn't get to this after The Originals.. it's actually very good. i feel like where TVD and TO had drama and serious issues going on which made them entertaining, this show is actually fun and entertaining. used to think Landon wasn't that likable, now he's one of my favorite boys on the show, absolute green flag. basically, listening to what people said made me dislike it and judge it for no reason unfortunately.

oh, and one other thing, i've seen people react to siblings before and for some reason everyone is happy whenever something happens to Lizzie and Josie shines? i understand the happiness for someone that finally got to do something but cheering for one sibling's good and other's struggle just because you like one is so weird?? they're siblings for god's sake.. it's the same people that were being the same when it came to Damon and Stefan. sibling relationship is so much more meaningful and instead of understanding that people make it toxic, just very weird..
