In the finale, Santiago asked Louis, "Is your companion with you?" to which Louis replied, "Didn't you hear? We broke up." Santiago: "Oh, I rather doubt that." Louis: "Hard to hold hands after he killed my sister and fledgling but think what you want." Santiago: "Don't let him take credit for the workman role he played, Louis. It was me that planned their deaths." Do you think Santiago was referring to Armand or Lestat in this scene? Who do you think Louis was referring to? Because technically, Louis's most recent "companion" was Armand - but Santiago had also been there when Louis denied that they were companions only to learn about Louis and Lestat's close relationship from Claudia's diaries. "Workman role" is also interesting given the respective roles both Lestat and Armand played in the trial. I feel like the lines make more sense referencing Lestat. But if that's the case, it is kind of sad/funny that Louis's mind goes to Lestat first (always) and Armand not at all.

While Lestat mentioned going on tour in the finale, it seemed more like a fantasy than a reality. However, he's making good on his promise in S3 -- and going around publically as "The Vampire Lestat." A couple of interesting details from the teaser: -Lestat's necklace is meant to look like a slit throat. -The person with the clapboard (around 1:35) has an "Armand told the truth" tattoo. While part of this tour could be seen as Lestat's usual attention-seeking nature or his way of getting his own side of the story out after being hurt by Louis's book, do you think there's a chance he's doing this to take some of the vampire heat off of Louis after Louis laid out his challenge? Basically, could this be Lestat going "I'm breaking the Great Laws, too! Look at me!"? Similarly, do you think part of him stopping Claudia from leaving on the train was knowing that her life would be at risk if she actually did meet other vampires - because her existence breaks The Great Laws?
