I FEEL SO BAD FOR SHANNON 😭 She JUST came back and was SO ready to be Christophers mum, fucking heartbreaking

Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

I am not a Shannon fan so I was mostly okay with her character being written off like this. I don't ship Eddie with anyone else in the show but I just don't buy Shannon's chemistry with either Eddie or Christopher. Idk what it is tbh. It COULD just be that we never got much time with her to truly get a sense of her but I didn't think she fit in well enough. And as horrid as it is that she was killed off, I think it would have been better than having her run away again and come back AGAIN at a later time. Even so, I was very sad for Eddie. Ngl I did tear up when we hear her letter. I'm mostly sad for Christopher.

just to clarify your question at the end - generally, season finales are a contained emergency to end the season on, they usually tend to be slightly less dramatic and explosive than a season opener is, but still with enough drama/emotion to feel like a season finale. i don't think it's a spoiler to say 9-1-1 has never had an emergency continue into the next season bc usually, the next season has a timeskip (handy to explain why characters appearances might have changed like hair differences etc.) and it's too much of a faff to worry about continuity differences after cast and crew have had a few months off filming - so the storylines are often contained and wrapped up within the season.
