This has been such an interesting episode. First of all, i loved the fact that Lizzie finally spoke up. Yes, she’s been shown to be the “problem” in the show, how selfish and needy she is, but it’s been so hard watching Penelope tormenting her for something she didn’t have a hand in or Josie speaking on behalf of Penelope past episodes. Throughout the episode i’ve felt Josie to literally be Penelope cause Josie, would never talk like that to someone that’s her sister. My favourite part has honestly been Hope and the prism. We have seen Hope around a lot of people in Originals or in this show and it’s such an interesting thing how she changes around people that she loves. She’s seen as someone that is a hero, fixing everything, someone with a hard shell and a wall up. And then she’s around with her loved ones like her family or in this case Landon and she becomes absolutely adorable. One of my favourite things so far in the show has been “sweet” hope and how much she smiles around Landon, props to him for making her feel this way, he’s a green forest for a reason i guess and she honestly needs to smile more!! Now, finally, please tell me i’m not a weirdo for absolutely crushing on Clarke??? His accent, his face being all serious and cute at the same time, i don’t know. Maybe i’m weird and it’s not even a thing in this fandom haha.. Thank you for watching Harry, can’t wait for the finale!!

Yes the subtitles were incorrect on that part, it did mean "our mom". I think they're referring to when they were with Caroline, because when they came back from that visit is when Lizzie started the shock bracelet

I'm not sure if they teach them compulsion but I think they might. At the very least, they have them use compulsion when recruiting new students and have humans that need their memories erased. Landon and Raf's foster parents were compelled, and they tried to compel Landon to forget. With those two instances I always just assumed they did teach compulsion
