In last episode's question time, we discussed how a lot of Buck's/Ali's relationship was off-screen (barely non-existent), but with the large size of this cast, we also see that relationships between our mains develop off-screen a lot, too. For example, while Buck and Eddie have been obviously close for a while, in this episode, we see Eddie let himself into Buck's house while Buck is still asleep, and says Chris is going to spend some time with "his Buck" today. Do you feel like you're missing these transitions or do you think it's easy enough to read between the lines? Writing-wise, what do you think the difference is in using "his Buck" versus "Uncle Buck" or something that's more common for family friends?

Ignoring the.. ominous ending to this ep for now, (you can see why it’s a two parter!) I always found it a bit interesting/cute that Maddie and Chimney are talking about everyone but Buck having kids, but then we immediately cut to the next scene in which Buck gets his “own” kid to take care of in the form of Chris! I think one of the reasons Eddie gives Chris to Buck here is to give Buck a purpose. Something to live for. Having someone who needs you to take care of them can force you to take care of yourself a little bit too. What are your thoughts on Chris and Buck’s dynamic and this being what finally gets Buck to actually get up and out of this apartment?
